If you are going to get internet access, shouldn't it be available to all Pardners? Last year when I was there you needed a local dial up number to use internet. I even bought a phone cord to plug in to try to use, but it wouldn't work. I have an internet access modem that gets me wireless most places, but it wouldn't work at the ranch either (it is through Sprint). So my thought is, unless you all can get internet access that will be availablt to all, why bother. We're from San Diego. Thanks

Yes, the main purpose of bringing high speed internet access to the lodges and bunkhouse is so that the office staff can finally communicate with each other and better respond to the Pardner's needs.
The big advantage to all Pardners is that we will also be able to connect to the internet wirelessly. If you have wireless on your computer, you will be able to connect at a high speed too. Range will be limited to near the offices, but that is WAY better than that useless old dial-up. Modern computers don't even have dial-up anymore.

We are starting with adding Wi-Fi at the lodges and the bunkhouse. After that, who knows?

R-Ranch Hornbrook has a cell tower on site. I'm quite sure we can get high speed internet for all owners.

Unfortunately, cell towers are not Wi-Fi towers. Wi-Fi has a much shorter range of about 50-100 feet.
Another issue is that there is a small mountain range between the cell towers and the Klamath lodge which blocks regular reception. We are looking to use a cellular antenna and amplifier to boost reception to a useable level.

I am so excited that the Ranch is even considering Wireless Internet Access. Having "Wireless" Access will be a huge benefit to all partners and guests.

R-Ranch must provide high speed internet access to survive in a world of competitive vacation campgrounds. There is already installed on Bogus Mountain a signal tower ready to deliver high speed to RR at all locations. Nothing to it but to do it!

It is expected that adding internet access to our offices via Wi-Fi will provide the R-Ranch with the following benefits:
- Saving Money - R-Ranch will save thousands each year by eliminating costly data lines
- Productivity Boost - The R-Ranch managers will be able to access email form the Ranch Manager and from Pardners for greater productivity and better service to the Pardners
- Wi-Fi Access - As an added benefit to saving money and improving service, Pardners and their guests will have Wi-Fi access when they are near the offices in the Bunkhouse, Cottonwood Lodge and the Klamath Lodge

Hey, how much income does the ranch get from these companies that have their towers on our property? I would assume they lease the space. Is that income detailed on our yearly income statements and balance sheets?
